Although we're primarily about swords, I came across this recently and just had to pick up this most unusual dagger. It's made of cast metal and as you can see from the pictures below the work is outstanding. The dagger itself is about 15 inches long including the 10 1/2" blade made of Stainless Steel.

Overall, the combination cradle and dagger is about 5 1/2" across and 10 1/2" high. I'm not sure of the symbolism involved in the very vicious cobra engulfing the black Pharoah but it gives the impression of the two merging into one. No conquest by the cobra but rather a merging of their power and held together by two winged cobras! If you look close you can even see a bit of a sneer ala Elvis Presley on our black Pharoah. All in all, a very powerful statement.
